![]() So here's John with guys from the wildside :-) this morning at our local Harrisonburg Farmer's Market. Two of them have joined with a "HumeeHum cause" by buying our inaugural "Monsanto Protest" shirt. John was wearing his last week and two of the beautiful Wildside Farms vendors saw it and loved it. (BTW, these guys featured in my blog post from last Saturday :-) In asking ourselves how we could positively channel our frustration with what is being done (to ruin our food supply and destroy our planet) by Monsanto with our government's blessing, we decided that designing, wearing and selling T-shirts such as this one, is one great way! Sure, these corporations are giants, but if each of us plants a seed of consciousness (literally and figuratively), says "No to GMOs" and processed foods on the grocery shelves, grows even a small garden, re-commits to "slow food" AND supports local food growers...I believe we CAN make a difference. We'll live healthier lives for it all PLUS just think of the mileage from all that good karma we'll accrue!!!! Now go buy a shirt and join the effort. Yeah.
