Siri Amrita designed, drew and painted this image. It was born out of an intense period of meditation on, and a prayer to be blessed with, the virtue of courage. One of her favourite Yogi Bhajanisms is "Its not the life you live that matters most: its the courage that you bring to it." Experiences over the past 18 months or so of her life has made this a central theme. The elephant stands its ground. It assesses its environments with intelligence. It moves, with calm deliberation, through obstacles, not around them. It is fierce in the defense of those it loves. It is loyal to the death. it is the epitome of all that constitutes "Courage". And as such, it is beautiful. Its motto is: "I AM".
Love is Here
The official T-shirt for our Guatemala KY Retreat 2017: Healing the Wounds of Love". Siri Amrita designed, drew and painted the image. The symbolism of the hand is profound. It is open, its colours those of the rainbow, signifying an acceptance and love for all the peoples of this planet, irrespective of size, shape, skin colour, gender, religion or any of the ways in which we humans may discriminate against one other. At the Center (a deliberate feature of the design) is the symbol of "Anahata", the heart chakra. It offers a prayer that we may face ourselves and our inner demons and work on ourselves such that we may truly heal. Then we enter the space of the heart: the lotus, untouched by the mud in which it lives. It is only from here that we may live fully, with innocence, grace and gentleness, giving and receiving authentic love.

This hummingbird represents the Divine Feminine, expressed through the Breath of her fearless Heart. She flies on Wings of Love. Notice the rounded belly: she is filled with the Creative Potential of the Universe. She is capable of the fastest, most intense activity yet notice how she "sits" grounded on the Earth, choosing Stillness. Her beak, long and delicate, represents her finely tuned intuition, which she uses to seek out the nectar of union with Brahm.
We Are We

"The two birds represent humanity: they are mirror images of each other, each reflecting the other back to her/himself. They are graceful and beautiful, because they are creations of Brahm, which is represented by the heart. Their beaks harmoniously sip the nectar that sustains them from Brahm. In so doing, they are one, and one with Brahm ("we are we, we are God").
Anchor into Stillness

This was custom designed for a local yoga retreat. The figure represents the Universal Enlightened Woman, seated solidly on the earth in joyful meditation, which allows her to "anchor into stillness" (these words are deliberately written in the color of the crown chakra, purple). She is featureless because she represents all of womanhood, and dominating her face is her Third Eye (ajna chakra), which is wide open.
