This evening at The Center Downtown, will be the Inaugural gathering: Give Peace A Chants. The concept and nifty title both, are...not the brainchild, but rather, the heartchild of my husband, Sat Purkha Singh (John Bradley). For some time now, he has been dreaming of facilitating ordinary folks coming together simply to chant and sing in praise, without preference to any one religious path. Suzanne Mc Cahill Perrine has graciously responded to this by allowing the beautiful Center Downtown to host the events.
Irrespective of how we choose to worship, we are all looking for the same things: a connection with the Divine, a way to navigate our lives with more peace and grace and understanding how to live in a state of steady bliss. For one hour every month, we will form a Company of Seekers....a group of everyday pilgrims on the journey of life....joining hearts and voices, with no agenda but Love: Love of the Divine Within and in each other. This is open to everyone: there is no set charge. You may give simply your presence. Or you may make a monetary donation, the entirety of which will be put into The Ice House Love Project Fund, which gives free yoga classes to the underprivileged in our society.
